Inbar Ronen

When I stepped off a plane from Israel with nothing but two suitcases, I knew I was where I wanted to be.  From the moment I arrived in New York, I dreamed about the idea of leading sweet tours throughout the city. My extreme passion for desserts and love of unique NY neighborhoods, make the perfect recipe for a one of a kind tour. So finally, I decided to make it happen. Though I've studied pastry art, worked for a chocolatier in Germany and took a chocolate course at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, I never had any interest in becoming a pastry chef. Of course, I do bake a cake or whip up a tiramisu from time to time. But, my real talent lies in discovering delicious treats and excitedly sharing them with others who will enjoy them too. As we journey through the city's sweetest spots, I share my thoughts on chocolates and pastries, while sprinkling a little neighborhood history on top. When I'm not leading tours, I'm still exploring every sweet corner of the city looking to discover my next obsession. 

מאז שהגעתי לניו יורק, מתגלגל בראשי הרעיון של סיורי מתוקים בעיר ולו בשל האהבה והתשוקה המוגזמת שלי לקינוחים. סיורי המתוקים שבניתי, מחולקים לשכונות בעיר, כשבכל שכונה נטייל ונבקר בפינות מתוקות (תרתי משמע), נטעם, נכיר ואספר לכם קצת על ההיסטוריה של המקום

בגיל 20 למדתי קונדיטוריה באופן מקצועי למרות שמעולם לא רציתי לעסוק בקונדיטוריה כמקצוע. בהמשך, עשיתי השתלמות שוקולד של מספר חודשים אצל שוקולטייר בגרמניה והמשכתי לקורס שוקולד קצר בבית הספר ‘לה קורדון בלו’ בפריז. בזמני הפנוי אני אופה ומשחקת בחומרי גלם ובשאר זמני הפנוי, אני חוקרת את מפת הקונדיטוריה בניו יורק תוך שיטוט אינסופי בעיר בניסיון לגלות פינות מיוחדות ומתוקות
